Sun Sail Catamarans Namibia

Sun Sail Catamarans

Operates Two luxury catamarans in Walvis bay Namibia, Dophins Seals and Whales

Our Catamarans are both motorised and sailing vessels. Our emphasis is on Sailing and all the romance and luxury associated with this fine way of travelling on the seas.

Sun Sail Catamarans are silent, even when underway with their engines.

The Catamarans offer a stable platform for viewing marine life and is ideal for elderly persons as embarking and disembarking is easy. Toilets on board with proper wash basins make the cruise ever more pleasant. These tours are excellent for viewing the marine life on the Walvis Bay Lagoon with a close encounter with seals, dolphins, birds, Whales, turtles, and Sun Fish. There are a number of tame seals that entertain the guests by jumping onboard.

Our catamarans are fully crewed and tours are guided in German, English, Afrikaans

Morning Seal and Dolphin Cruise

The Catamarans leave every morning at 08h30 or at 10h00 and weather permitting sail on the lagoon in Walvis Bay. We visit the oyster farms, the wreck at Pelican Point, the lighthouse and the seal colony. We also spend time looking for dolphins, whales, leatherback turtles and Sun fish.

We have a number of tame seals that visit the catamaran and guests can see these animals very close. Also of interest is the large variety of bird life in the Lagoon area.
